What does the term "Etosha mean”?
Etosha is a Namibian word that means "great white area" and refers to the vast salt pan. This is an astonishing sight because it is unquestionably Africa's largest salt pan. As a result, when it rains, the water in the pan collects and attracts hundreds of thousands of flamingos!

The best time to Visit Etosha Park
Having said all that, there are certain times of the year that are better for specific sightings, needs, and options.
March and April are best for seeing game on the plains and observing wildlife activity. Whereas August and September are when one can see large herds and numerous species at the waterholes,. It all depends on your personal wishes. Are you only interested in seeing Africa's wildlife? Are you visiting for photography? Do you want to see elephants, lions, rhinos, or any other specific species? Are you a birder? try Uganda, Are you just looking to see the African bush and spend some time in the wilderness, having been there and done that with the ellies and lions?

Day 1
Pickup and transfer to Etosha National Park
We will pick you up at your hotel or guesthouse and visit Namibia’s premier tourist attraction—Etosha National Park! Etosha is one of the world’s largest game parks, extending more than 350km from east to west. The wide-open plains, numerous waterholes, and large number of game (estimated at 200 lions, 16 000 zebras, 7000 oryx/gemsbok, 2500 elephants, 3000 giraffes, 600 black rhinos, and many other species) make visits to Etosha National Park very rewarding. First, you will do an afternoon game drive through the park, visiting waterholes looking for predators and their prey, zebra, giraffe, elephant, rhino, and many different species, before sunset. Then, at the Okaukuejo Resort, you can settle into your rooms while waiting for dinner to be served.

Day 2
Full day activity
After breakfast, we continue our adventure in Etosha National Park with an extended game drive in the morning, trying to take in as much of this beautiful park and its wild animals as possible. Your second game drive mid-morning takes you to the impressive Etosha Pan, also known as the Great White Place. Here, you can get out of the vehicle and experience this 4500-square-kilometer saline desert before continuing your game drive to look for the Big Four. Next, you return to the resort for lunch while you dip in the pool. After lunch, you begin your final game drive towards Okaukuejo, passing some well-known waterholes and leaving the park before sunset. Finally, you will return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Etosha National Park to windhoek
We end our Etosha National Park experience with a quick breakfast before returning to Namibia's capital, Windhoek. On our way back, we will stop at the open market in Okahandja, where you can buy souvenirs to remind you of our beautiful country and the experience you had with us. Then, finally, we will drop you off at your hotel and bid you farewell until we see you again.
